Color Swatching Printables

I have talked about color swatching and the benefits it provides. Now I have a way to make color swatching even easier for you.

Quick Tip Tuesday - Organization

My favorite storage solution in my craft room is my pegboard. I love having so many supplies at my fingertips! Here is my board:

Whether I am working on a card, a scrapbook page, or some other type of craft, there are so many things I have easy access to: Cricut mats, ribbon, foam tape, scissors, pens, paper towels (a MUST for crafting) embellishments such as flowers and brads, bows, stickers, lace, and so much more! If you have room for a pegboard, even a small one, I highly recommend getting one. They make really cute baskets, buckets, and storage cups now! Happy crafting!

Quick Tip Tuesday - Craft Organization

My tip today is to "think outside the box" when it comes to organizing your craft supplies. While some supplies might require specific storage such as 12x12 papers that you can't simply put into a drawer, some materials can work in items you already have.

Let me give you an example. I have quite a few ink pads, so I ordered a desktop ink pad holder. It didn't work out. First, I had to put it together. Second, it took up a lot of space on my craft table. Third, all of my ink pads didn't fit. Some of them were too big.

So, I gave up the ink pad holder and stored them in a plastic bin. This didn't work out, either, because the only place I had to put it was on a shelf, and I was frequently having to get it down. Plus, all the ink pads were stacked one on another, and most of the time, the one I needed was at the bottom.

What I finally ended up doing, which provided a perfect solution, was to put them in my daughter's old jewelry hanger. There is a pocket for each and every ink pad I have (it has 30 pockets on each side), and it stores on the wall out of the way! It couldn't be more perfect!

So, my tip is to think outside the box when it comes to storage solutions. Have a crafty week!

Quick Tip Tuesday - Craft storage

As crafters, we use so many different products, and usually, we like to keep them at our fingertips. One thing I use that I absolutely love is a peg board. I use it for rolls of foam tape, Scotch tape, ribbon, lace, bling, rulers, pens, paper towels, Cricut tools, embellishments and flowers (which I have color-coded).

This has helped me solve a lot of issues. I also think that how we organize our products evolves over time, because right now, I may want my cardstock in vertical storage, but later, I may decide drawers would work better. Either way, my pegboard is here to stay. It's the best organization tool I have ever used.
